Tiffanys birthday party

You are invited to come to my 5 day birthday celebration in Costa Rica!  Finca Mālama is our home and retreat center and will be the host for our gathering.  I’d love to have you.  Please read the details below in full and let me know if you’d like to attend.

I ask that you arrive in Costa Rica to our home by October 8th so we can spend the whole day together. Because of that, it is best to arrive to Costa Rica on the 6th or 7th.

What will we do:

October 7th- arrive at the SJO airport and travel to our location.

October 8th- My birthday!

One of my favorite shows is Survivor and I have watched almost every season for the last 20 years.  For my birthday I’d like to plan an interactive game of Survivor.  This will be a fun, immersive game we play over the span of the day.  It will include games, puzzles, forming alliances, strategizing so that you can outwit, outlast, and outplay everyone to be the sole Survivor.

October 9th- Chill day

October 10th- Beach day trip.  We will take you to one of our favorite beaches to hang out. Its a 2 hour drive each way so its a good sightseeing opportunity as we travel from the mountains to the beach in the jungle.  This is also a day to get massages at my favorite place if you’d like.

October 11th- Chill day and in the evening we will have a dance party!

October 12th- Departure

Investment:

We are asking for $100 per person which will contribute towards food and for us to hire help to cook and clean.

Food, lodging, and all things on our property are included.

Travel to Costa Rica

You will travel to San Jose airport code SJO.

Travel to Finca Mālama

We are a 6 hour drive from the nearest international airport, SJO.  You will need to travel to us via bus, private shuttle, or a plane.

Bus: The buses here are clean and safe and easy to use.  You can take a ride from the area the international airport is located to here in 8 hours for about $20 each way.

Domestic plane: You can book a flight on FlySansa.com for about $130-160 one way but then you will need to get a taxi to drive 1.5 hours here which is about $140 each way.

Car rental: Car rentals can be very expensive but this is an option should you choose.

Chartering a private plane: If there are 12 people coming that would like to come via private plane then we can charter a plane which would land right in our town, 20 mins from our house.  It is $2000 each way.  So that would be about $170 pp each way.

Private shuttle: We can hire shuttle for land travel and its about $1100 RT in total.

Requests:

For our Survivor game, there will be winners.  We request you bring a prize valued at $20 to enter into the winning pot for who ever wins Survivor.  We also request that if you have never seen the show that you watch at least a few episodes to get the idea of what we will be doing.  I love gifts too so if you’d like to bring one for me, it is welcomed 🙂

RSVP:

If you’d like to come please secure your space ASAP by letting me know how many people are coming and then I will ask you to register here so I can have everyones info in one place.  You will be placed in rooms based  number of people in your party.

Couples and those with kids will have private rooms while singles will be in shared rooms.

After your RSVP:

I will add you to a group chat so we can discuss and arrange transportation from SJO to here and back as well as to discuss any other details.
